Can’t Miss Items From Target’s New Project 62 Line!

Just last week I shared the AMAZING news that Chip and Joanna Gaines are partnering with Target to create an ongoing collaboration for all things Fixer Upper inspired. [Much needed good news after hearing that Fixer Upper is on it’s last season, right?!] While we have to wait until November 5 for that amazing collab to debut, in the meantime we can flip over to the other end of the design spectrum and take a look at Target’s new modern décor line: Project 62. And y’all – it. Is. Beautiful.

Described as “modern pieces made for every day living”, the Project62 line is a tribute to the fact that Target itself debuted in 1962 at the height of modernist design. Generally speaking, I don’t love modern design as it often (at least to me!) feels kind of cold. I appreciate the minimalist design and impact with clean lines and smooth curves, but often feel like it needs a touch of coziness. In my opinion  , Target nailed it with Project 62. It’s absolutely classy and gives a “clean” feel, while still managing to add a degree of comfort and plush textures.

I’ve given the line a good  look over and want to share some of my FAVORITE pieces! These items are just the right touch of modern, with a classic, liveable feel and comforting touch.

First up, this beautiful slipper chair is absolutely darling. I especially love it in this blush tone!

Toss one of their beautiful pillows onto the chair – they’ve got a great mix of geometric designs and varying textures, but of course my favorite is this chunky knit pillow! Cream_Knit_Pillow_Target_Project62_

Moving on to the kitchen – I adore these stoneware dishes. They can go either way – a clean modern look, or paired with a white washed farmhouse table for a modern farmhouse feel. Project62_Stoneware_ThisCreativeNest

And, given my predisposition to LOVE a good set of blue dishes, I’d be crazy not to share these with you! How beautiful is this glazed pottery look?! Project62_Glazed Blue Dishes_ThisCreativeNest

When you’re ready to rest, the Project 62 bedding options will give you a gorgeous place to lay your head. I’m a sucker for classic white bedding, but I love this gridded design and cream color. Project62_Target_ThisCreativeNest_Bedding_Comforter

Add on this Mongolian Faux Fur throw blanket in blush, and I’m literally in heaven. Blush_Fur_Project62_Throw_Target_This Creative Nest

Finally, this adorable Welcome (and goodbye!) mat is a finishing touch for guests on their way in or out of your home!

Overall, I feel like the new lines Target will be debuting over the coming months are going to be a treasure trove of mix and match goodies. I’m not sure if they’ll be discontinuing Threshold (please Lord, no!) but between this and Hands and Hearth, I have a feeling we’ll have plenty of options when it comes to home décor updates through the season!

Tell me – what’s your favorite piece from Project 62?! If you’ve already purchased a few items and brought them home, I’d love to see how you’ve styled them!
